The Big Tex Movin’ Picture Company, LLC was formed in 2005 by Heidi Hughes and her husband Bill. BTMP islocated in Houston, Texas and it’s primary function is the production of low to mid-range budgeted feature films. Currently the company owns seven feature-length screenplays.
Each film property, owned by Big Tex, is targeted to a specific audience. Those audiences include, youth/children, young adult, romance, action adventure, science fiction and horror. Elements of each screenplay are designed to maximize the marketability of the project to its specific audience.
The Big Tex Movin’ Picture Company, LLC also develops computer animation segments and produces music videos. The company’s screenplays are also available for production, sale or option by other companies.
Bill and Heidi’s background is in producing high-level designs, props, art direction and story content for Hollywood’s biggest science fiction films. They are award winning writers and directors. They are also skilled animators, special effects artists and editors. Together they provide an expertise seldom found in low budget filmmaking.
The Big Tex Movin’ Picture Company, LLC has a family oriented division, Wondervista Entertainment, a monster movie division, Ghoul Tree Productions, as well as Big Tex Films.
